The following neighborhood sweeps are scheduled for 2026:
- February 18 - District A (Allendale)
- March 18 - District B (Highland)
April 8 - District C (East Cedar Grove)
May 6 - District D/E (Eden Garden)
June 17 - District F (Mooretown)
July 8 - District G (Queensborough)
August 5 - District A (MLK)
September 9 - District F (Ingleside/Werner Park)
October 7 - District B (Caddo Heights)
Shreveport’s redevelopment agency, SIRA, will play a key role in returning vacant properties to commerce, strengthening neighborhood fabric and supporting local business growth.
“This isn’t just a short-term fix; it’s a fundamental change in how Shreveport addresses neglected and vacant properties,” said Mayor Tom Arceneaux. “The work our team has done with Bloomberg Harvard has been extraordinary, and this initiative reflects the best of what’s possible when we align our people, our data, and our purpose.”
