Emergency medical service is provided by the Shreveport Fire Department emergency ambulance units.
Billing
Emergency medical services are billed first to to qualifying medical insurance agencies such as Medicare / Medicaid or private insurance companies. When all these resources have responded, the customer is billed for the remainder of the fees for the services rendered.
